Tom Cruise Won’t Even Come Close to Beating Jackie Chan’s These 2 Guinness World Records

Tom Cruise and Jackie Chan are both iconic actors with a similar type of genre of films that they both star in. Often seen in action and comedic roles, Chan and Cruise like to perform their own stunts to bring realism to their movies.

Although Cruise has done some pretty intense stunts throughout his Hollywood career, Jackie Chan was honored with two Guinness World Records back in 2012 for his film Chinese Zodiak which Tom Cruise might not be able to beat!

Tom Cruise Will Not Be Able To Break Jackie Chan’s World Records!

Back in 2012, Jackie Chan decided to create a sequel to his Armour of God franchise. CZ12 or Chinese Zodiac came out as a result of Chan’s determination to get back in the game and the actor did deliver.

The first Guinness World Record that Jackie Chan received was the record for “Most Credits in one movie” for CZ12. The 2012 film was co-written and co-produced by Chan who also was the lead role of the film alongside being the director. Chan was also heavily involved in all the major creative decisions including fight choreographer and composer. All in all, the actor had 15 credits to his name for the 2012 movie and achieved the world record for it.

Another world record that would personally seem to hurt Tom Cruise is Jackie Chan’s high number of stunts. With both actors doing their own stunts, Chan was awarded the Guinness World Record for “Most Stunts” by a living actor.

“I was finally given the trust and the platform … to show more range and to show more emotional depth in a franchise or something of this size, which I hadn’t been afforded before. And so I have this eternal gratitude to Tom and to McQ, who provided the resources and the support system every day on set so that I could thrive.”
