On the official website of the Guinness World Records, it has been noted that Tom Cruise has a record to his name. Starring in a plethora of iconic movies like American Made, Edge of Tomorrow, and, The Mummy, Cruise’s movies have earned more than $100 million at the global box office.

Although that isn’t a notable feat Tom Cruise has starred in 8 consecutive films that went on to break the $100 million mark at the global box office! As per the Guinness World Records, Cruise’s films: Mission: Impossible – Fallout, American Made, The Mummy, Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Edge of Tomorrow, Oblivion, and, Jack Reacher have crossed the $100 million mark in consecutive succession!

Comparing the record to Will Smith, the actor has had his fair share of high-ranking movies at the box office but not consecutively like Cruise. Smith’s notable films include the Men in Black sequels and the third part that went on to earn a whopping $654 million at the global box office. Smith had once stated that he felt that he was better than Tom Cruise.

The Men in Black actor felt truly old when he starred in the 2020 movie, Bad Boys for Life. Talking about the movie, Smith felt confident and powerful when he did some of his own stunts. Comparing himself to the Top Gun star, Smith talked on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon about the heavy toll of filming your own stunts.

“I started [filming the movie], and I told myself that I was doing all of my stunts. Tom Cruise was just hanging on the side of an airplane at 50. I was like, ‘Man, I am better than Tom Cruise.’ I did like two stunts, and I was like ‘I’m not better than Tom Cruise.’”
