Thanks to the intricate costumery, plunging cuts, and micro hemlines on show at live performances, wardrobe malfunctions come with the territory—and Miranda Lambert is the latest musician to have her concert attire go wrong on stage. While performing in Seattle on Morgan Wallen’s I’m The Problem Tour, the country singer showed she’s a pro as she gracefully sailed through a cheeky skirt mishap without missing a beat.
In a TikTok video that has since gone viral, Lambert—who performed in Washington’s capital on July 25 and 26—could be seen launching into a heartfelt rendition of her hit song “Bluebird.” In addition to wearing her signature tan cowboy hat, “The House That Built Me” star leaned into a girl-next-door aesthetic with a black rhinestone-bedazzled T-shirt that had a suede fringe accent cascading off the back. She paired the westerncore piece with black mid-calf cowboy boots and a distressed denim miniskirt that she accessorized with an embellished thick brown leather belt, which featured a large, ornately-decorated gold buckle.

As Lambert strode across the stage during her performance, eagle-eyed fans in the front row noticed the singer’s denim miniskirt started riding up, giving the audience a cheeky view. However, the Grammy award-winning star appeared unfazed by the subtle wardrobe malfunction, continuing her set without pausing to adjust her skirt.

It appears to be the first concert wardrobe malfunction for Lambert, who was previously married to Blake Shelton. However, her musical peers Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Simpson, and even Taylor Swift have experienced an outfit mishap mid-performance in recent years. During a recent, July 25 stop on her Up All Night tour in Warsaw, Poland, Lopez even made light of the situation by cracking a joke when her skirt unexpectedly fell off, revealing her underwear underneath.
“I’m glad I had underwear on. I don’t usually wear underwear,” Lopez quipped to the audience, before throwing the faulty skirt into the crowd, explaining that she didn’t “want it back.”
