Birth decade: The Lose You to Love me singer continued with her ’90s vibe style as she made her way into the airport

On Tuesday, Selena hosted an album release party at a Puma store for her new record, Rare.

The star earned her first number one single prior to the album’s debut, with her hit track, Lose You to Love Me.

The song was reportedly written about Justin Bieber and their on-off relationship. The track hinted at him with the line; ‘two months you replaced us, like it was easy…’

Following their final split in May 2018, he would rekindle his relationship with now-wife, Hailey Bieber by proposing to her that July.

In an interview with Billboard, the Latina beauty said that she was ‘a mess’ when she wrote the song. But when it came time to shoot the video, she said that ‘it was so freeing.’

‘When I wrote the song, Lose You to Love Me, I was kind of a mess. It was really difficult for me,’ she began.

‘And by the time we shot the music video at the end of the year, it had a completely different meaning, and it was so freeing. It was actually fun for me, I think, because I let it go, it actually meant that I let it go within myself as well. And I couldn’t have asked for a better way to close a chapter in my life.’
