Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo have solidified their costar status in ink.

The Wicked lead actresses showed off two matching tattoos on Instagram that seem to represent their time shooting the film adaptation of the Broadway musical in which Erivo, 36, plays Elphaba (the green witch) and Grande, 30, plays Glinda the Good Witch.

The tattoos — a poppy flower and the phrase “for good” — are placed on each woman’s hand.

The poppy is likely a reference to the field of poppies in The Wizard of Oz, where Dorothy (Judy Garland) falls asleep on her way to meet the Wizard and “For Good” is a lyric from the Wicked song of the same name — which is also happens to be an emotional duet between the show’s leads.

And while the stars are just now showing off their ink on social media, their “For Good” tattoos aren’t necessarily fresh. The Instagram story, posted by Grande on Friday, tagged the tattoo date as last April. As for the poppy, which was shared by Erivo, it’s unclear if the floral design was added later, or inked the same day in spring.

Since accepting their roles in the Broadway to screen production, Grande and Erivo have spoken highly of their friendship. “The connection we’ve made is really special,” Erivo told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show. “She’s got a family member for life now.”

Their connection extends to their vocal design, too. “I don’t know that we realized that our voices would fit so well together,” she added. “Our voices are very, very different, but when we sing together, it just works.”

On the set of Wicked, Grande also found love with costar Ethan Slater.
