On Saturday, the 24-year-old “Nonsense” singer uploaded an Instagram picture with some of the final photos from her tenure as an opening act on Taylor Swift’s record-breaking world tour. In one shot, Carpenter and Swift, 34, were seen visiting the Sydney Zoo in Australia. They could be seen walking alongside each other, taking in the views.
Other photos show Carpenter playing onstage and cheering on her squad as they prepare backstage.
“That’s a wrap for us on the eras tour:’),” Carpenter began her lengthy caption. “I’m sitting at home, reflecting on what a whirlwind this was and how privileged I am to have been a part of it. I’d like to thank everyone for being so warm and generous to us, and for creating some of the most impressive friendship bracelets I’ve ever seen.”
Swift previously announced that the Disney Channel alum would be joining her as an opening act for the Eras Tour in June 2023. Carpenter was announced as the opening for her overseas tour dates in Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil, with Australia and Singapore adding later.
Since then, the two vocalists appear to have become even closer as they toured together. Earlier this month, after Carpenter’s opening act was postponed due to inclement weather at one of their Sydney gigs, Swift and Carpenter performed a duet of Swift’s songs “White Horse” and “Coney Island” for delighted fans at Accor Stadium, leaned against each other and swaying to the music.
Carpenter later thanked Swift for her support and addressed the pinch-me moment of singing the duet with the megastar, sharing a video of the performance on Instagram. “9-year-old Sabrina singing White Horse would never see this coming! Taylor, I love you very much. She wrote, “Always have, always will.”

Carpenter referenced her lengthy love of Swift’s music in the same March 1 Instagram post, sharing an old Facebook screenshot from 2009 that said, “Was trying to enter a Taylor Swift contest to win tickets and a chance to meet her but they said I had to be 13.”
