What only Ronaldo can do is shine in many different clubs 🐐

Al Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo reached an important milestone in the team’s opening AFC Champions League match in Tehran against host Persepolis on an empty field.

The 38-year-old did not contribute to scoring in the match in Tehran, and this was only the second time in seven matches this season that Ronaldo did not score a goal or assist. Remember, after failing in his UEFA Champions League debut exactly two decades ago, Ronaldo did the same thing in his first match at the recent AFC Champions League .

Lewandowski opened fire, only losing to Ronaldo and Messi

(PLO) – Barca’s Robert Lewandowski reached an incredible milestone in the early morning of September 20 when he scored his 100th goal in European club competitions (including qualifying) in a 5-0 win over the team Royal Antwerp of Belgium in the UEFA Champions League.

However, Al Nassr ‘s victory in Tehran marked the 1,000th match that Ronaldo did not lose for club and national team. He also became the first person in football history to achieve this record.

Any team featuring Ronaldo has won 776 of these matches and drawn 224 of them. This figure includes 13 wins for Sporting CP (in 31 matches), 21 wins for Al Nassr (in 32 matches), 91 for Juventus (in 131 matches), 121 for Portugal (in 201 matches), 214 for Manchester United (in 346 matches) and 316 wins for Real Madrid in 438 matches.

Cristiano Ronaldo is considered one of the best players in the football world over the past 20 years. Since his debut in the first team in 2003, he has scored countless goals for both club and national team.

Recently, the Portuguese superstar became the first male player to score 850 goals for both club and team. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner achieved the feat in current side Al Nassr’s 5-1 Saudi Pro League win over Al Raed last month.

And with 123 goals in 201 appearances for the Portuguese team, the former Man United legend is the person who scored the most goals and had the most appearances in the history of international men’s football .

In the UEFA Champions League, Ronaldo scored 145 goals in 183 matches, more than second place Messi (132 goals) and third place Lewandowski (100 goals). He is also the first player to win this tournament 5 times, scoring in 3 finals and scoring for two different championship teams.

At the international football level, Ronaldo is the top scorer in Euro history (14 goals) and in qualifying rounds (36 goals). He is also the first person to appear and score in 5 different Euro matches.

Ronaldo is on track to extend this record at the tournament in Germany in 2024, when he will be 39 years old, with coach Roberto Martinez’s Portugal team currently needing just one victory to qualify for the Euro finals.

However, Ronaldo’s sad mark this year is that for the first time in the past 20 years, he was not named on FIFA’s 2023 Best Player list. Previously, the Portuguese striker was also absent from the list of 30 players shortlisted for the Golden Ball award by the famous French magazine France Football.
