Revealing the first player to leave Real Madrid this summer

Real Madrid seems to have big plans for the summer transfer window. There has been a lot of talk about Kylian Mbappe finally completing his dream move to Santiago Bernabeu as a free agent.

And the Frenchman may not be the only world-class talent arriving in the Spanish capital ahead of the 2024/25 season. Real Madrid have also been linked with a number of other famous players. One of them is Alphonso Davies.

Davies is one of the best left backs in the world. It is believed that Real will have to pay a transfer fee of around 50 million euros to sign this player from Bayern Munich. And if he goes to Real, a player will have to sacrifice.

According to Marca’s report, Real is trying to get Davies, while Mendy has one year left on his contract and coach Carlo Ancelotti wants to extend his contract.

With this scenario, Fran Garcia’s position may be affected. At that point, the club could consider transferring Garcia.

Garcia grew up at Real but left to join Rayo Vallecano. He impressed there and was brought in last summer for a transfer fee of around 5 million euros.

However, Garcia has not been able to convince the coaching staff since returning to Real. On the other hand, Mendy improved a lot this season. Therefore, the Spaniard is likely to leave in case Davies arrives in the summer.
