The real reason behind the split of Tom Cruise, 61, and his socialite girlfriend Elsina Khayrova, 36, has been unveiled.
The star of Mission Impossible and the Russian socialite decided to part ways recently. Insiders reveal that Tom decided to ‘cool things down’ because their relationship was ‘moving too fast.’
Despite the unexpected split, the Top Gun star and the socialite are reportedly still in touch.

“Tom felt things were moving too fast, especially in the media, ” an insider shared about the relationship. “he wasn’t there yet, so he’s cooled things down, but they are still in touch,” a source told Page Six.
The source further added: “Tom wants to go slow with whoever he sees, as he feels he’s been burned by several of exes.” They mentioned that Tom wanted to keep the romance more private and low-key.
It is believed that things had been going well and Tom had even met the millionaire divorcee’s kids. Although the couple has parted ways, Tom is said to have ‘left the door open’ for them to reconcile.
Elsina and Tom were first seen together in public in February. After revealing their relationship, the two have now broken up. A source told The Sun US that the relationship simply “ran its course” and the two will remain friends as they both live in the same block in London.
The famous actor and his new love were seen going on dates in London, showing they might be pretty serious. They went to a fancy event for the London Air Ambulance Charity but arrived separately. They even hung out at the posh Raffles Hotel.
A source close to them told The Sun: “To end things on a bad note would have been awkward if they’d bumped into each other in the lift. There are no hard feelings between them and for Tom, their relationship simply ran its course.”
Their breakup comes after the actor met his Elsina’s kids, whom she had with her old husband Dimitry Tsvetkov. Page Six says her kids came after she and Dimitry split up in 2021.
Dimitry and Elsina argued over their house in Surrey, some flats in London, two cars, jewelry, and paintings by famous artists like Pierre-Auguste Renoir and Marc Chagall over the course of their divorce, as per Daily Mail.
Tom also has three kids from before. He adopted two kids, Isabella and Connor, with Nicole Kidman, and he has a daughter, Suri, with Katie Holmes.
