According to a report from Estadio Deportivo, Real Madrid have listed three potential transfer targets in the right-back position. Los Blancos faces many changes in the summer of 2024. Coach Carlo Ancelotti needs to continue upgrading the squad and increasing personnel depth.

Right-back is a position Real Madrid needs to strengthen. The duo Dani Carvajal and Lucas Vazquez are both over the age of 32, so Los Blancos must look for a new, younger star.

According to Estadio Deportivo, three stars in Real Madrid’s sights include: Reece James (Chelsea), Juanlu Sanchez (Sevilla), Yan Couto (Girona). Among them, James is the most ideal target for the Spanish Royal team.

James impresses with his comprehensive playing style and ability to attack and defend. Big minus point for the English defender when James is continuously sidelined by injury. 

Juanlu Sanchez is another potential face considered by Real Madrid. The 20-year-old star made a strong impression in the Sevilla shirt. Juanlu can play well as a right-back and center-back when needed. 

Finally, Yan Couto. The 21-year-old defender plays for Girona on loan from Man City. This season, Yan Couto was the bright spot when Girona played impressively in La Liga.
