Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr has spent eight hours getting a full back tattoo – with his inking paying homage to Pele, Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant.

WHAT HAPPENED?
Boxing icon Muhammad Ali also figures prominently in the epic body art that now adorns the Brazilian forward’s skin. The 2022 Champions League winner, who has been nursing an injury at Santiago Bernabeu and currently sees Real enjoying a winter break, has spent the festive period in America.

During that visit to the United States, Vinicius has rubbed shoulders with NBA heroes LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo. He has also taken in a trip to Los Angeles that has allowed him to visit world-renowned tattoo artist, Ganga.

Ganga has previously worked with Carlos Alcaraz, Jake Paul and LeBron, with Vinicius added to his ever-growing list of celebrity clients. The South American had travelled over 6,000 miles to get his latest tattoo, and spent eight hours under the needle before a stunning design was complete.
WHAT NEXT FOR VINICIUS?
Vinicius has also had the words “Mentality” and “Black Lives Matter” etched onto his body, with tributes being paid to sporting and cultural icons. He will be hoping to be back in action for Real at some point in the not too distant future, with Jude Bellingham starring for the Blancos in his absence as they have made their way to the top of the Liga table and through to the last-16 of the Champions League.
