Real Madrid is ready to spend 75 million to recruit Trent

Real Madrid is having successful results this season with its current squad, but the Royal Club still has plans to add strength to coach Carlo Ancelotti in the 2024 summer market. Defense is the area that Real wants to continue upgrade, president Perez is said to have targeted Liverpool right-back, Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Trent Arnold has shown high form this season, and continues to prove that he is one of the best right-backs in Europe. According to SunSport, Real Madrid is willing to spend up to 75 million pounds to convince Liverpool to release the English international. This is considered a bold decision for Los Blancos because Trent plays as a defender and only has 1 year left on his contract after this season.

Eder Militao is currently the most expensive player in the “White Vultures” defense, but his price is less than 50 million pounds. The Brazilian international was recruited by the Bernabeu team in 2019 for 45 million pounds from Porto.

If Liverpool actually receives an offer of up to 75 million pounds for Trent, Liverpool will be forced to consider selling the English defender to Real Madrid. If determined to keep, The Reds must ask the 25-year-old defender to extend his contract before the end of the upcoming market to avoid losing everything.

In addition to Trent, Liverpool also has two big stars in a similar situation: Salah and Van Dijk. Both of these foreign players are earning high salaries at Anfield but still want higher income when signing the next contract in their career.

In addition, Caoimhin Kelleher could also leave Liverpool to look for a starting position. The 25-year-old Irish goalkeeper has played in the last 5 matches in the Premier League and the League Cup final due to Alisson’s injury. Kelleher has played a total of 43 matches since joining Anfield in 2019.
