Real Madrid is about to have a classy left-back

Real Madrid has identified defender Alphonso Davies as its top transfer target next season. They want to strengthen the left-back position according to head coach Carlo Ancelotti’s wishes.

In the past, the only obstacle was understood to be the steadfastness of Bayern Munich’s leadership. However, recent information from Germany said that the Gray Tigers have accepted the Canadian defender to leave.

Two journalists from Sky Germany, Florian Plettenberg and Kerry Hau, both reported that the Gray Tigers had considered letting Davies leave. This happened when Davies determined to “claim” to Real Madrid, after seeing his requests for a new contract in Munich rejected.

In fact, Bayern are looking for a replacement for Davies and AC Milan’s Théo Hernandez is a potential option.

Real Madrid are willing to spend between 40-50 million euros for Davies’ signature, but they hope to reach a deal at a significantly lower price before Davies’ contract expires in 2025.
