In a fiery White House press briefing that has sent shockwaves across both political aisles, Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy delivered a searing confrontation to Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, demanding answers over the Biden administration’s stunning claim that no “Jeffrey Epstein client list” exists—despite earlier assertions to the contrary.
Doocy, unrelenting in his line of questioning, brought out direct quotes to dismantle Leavitt’s evasive responses. “Okay. So. The FBI looks at the circumstances surrounding the death of Jeffrey Epstein,” he began. “According to the report, this systematic review revealed no incriminating client list. So what happened to the Epstein client list that the Attorney General said she had on her desk?”
Leavitt attempted to deflect. “Well, I think if you go back and look at what the Attorney General said in that interview which was on your network, on Fox News—”
But Doocy was prepared. “I’ve got the quote,” he interrupted.
“Go ahead,” Leavitt challenged.
Doocy didn’t miss a beat. “John Roberts said ‘DOJ may be releasing the list of Jeffrey Epstein’s clients. Will that really happen?’ and she said ‘It’s sitting on my desk right now to review.’”
Cornered, Leavitt tried to spin the narrative. “Yes, she was saying the entirety of all of the paperwork, all of the paper in relation to Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes, that’s what the Attorney General was referring to,” she claimed. “And I’ll let her speak for that, but again, when it comes to the FBI and the Department of Justice, they are more than committed to ensuring that bad people are put behind bars.”
Trying to pivot, Leavitt praised the DOJ’s “Operation Summer Heat,” touting a 62% increase in arrests of violent criminals. “Their emphasis on violent crime and locking up violent criminals has led to the arrest of 14,000 violent criminals… That’s a record,” she said, attempting to distract from the core question.
But Doocy’s confrontation highlighted a stark contradiction: Attorney General Pam Bondi’s past statement clearly suggested that there was a specific client list related to Epstein’s operations—one that was supposedly on her desk. Now, the administration is walking it back.
So what gives?
There are only two plausible scenarios.
First, there was never a client list to begin with. That doesn’t negate the possibility that Epstein maintained incriminating blackmail material on powerful individuals—it simply means he may not have compiled a clean “little black book.” If this is true, Bondi’s prior claim was a political performance aimed at appeasing Epstein conspiracy believers within the MAGA base.
Second, and far more concerning, is the possibility that the client list does exist—and that it’s being suppressed. If names on that list include powerful Trump allies—or even Trump himself—it would explain the sudden reversal in messaging and the eagerness to downplay the story.
Notably, Elon Musk, an unpredictable figure who has drifted between political camps, previously suggested that Trump is in the Epstein files. “That’s the real reason they have not been made public,” Musk claimed. After the DOJ’s latest review concluded that Epstein wasn’t murdered—a finding many still reject—Musk posted a satirical image of “The Official Jeffrey Epstein Pedophile Arrest Counter,” displaying the number “0000.”
“What’s the time? Oh look, it’s no-one-has-been-arrested-o’clock again …,” Musk added sarcastically, capturing the public’s deep frustration with the lack of accountability in the Epstein saga.
The implications are explosive. The Trump-era DOJ promised transparency. Yet now, even that administration’s former officials appear to be backtracking. If the list was real, where is it now? If it never existed, why was the public led to believe otherwise?
The gravity of Epstein’s crimes—human trafficking, child exploitation, and alleged blackmail of global elites—demands clarity. But the political gamesmanship surrounding his client list only deepens public mistrust.
And Peter Doocy’s takedown of Karoline Leavitt might mark a turning point. For once, MAGA media is turning inward, asking questions that could ultimately expose hypocrisy and cover-ups inside Trump World itself.
The White House’s shifting narrative only reinforces suspicions. Until the public sees the full truth—whether in the form of a list, documents, or damning footage—the Epstein mystery will continue to haunt the halls of power.
