Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce have made plans to see Taylor Swift on tour after the NFL season, with the pop superstar having attended seven Chiefs games this season

NFL superstars Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, stars of the Kansas City Chiefs, are reportedly planning to see pop sensation Taylor Swift on tour after their NFL season ends in 2024.

Kelce and Swift have become a couple in recent months and went public when she was spotted at a Chiefs game three months ago. Swift has since become a regular at games, forming a friendship with Mahomes’ wife, Brittany.

Despite their new-found mainstream fame away from the pitch, Kelce and Mahomes remain focused on their upcoming season, aiming for another Super Bowl victory.

A source told the Daily Mail: “They have all talked about seeing some of Taylor’s shows overseas after the season, and since KC has a game on Christmas, they will all hang out in the stadium with family and friends afterward.” They added that despite the media attention, both players are committed to reaching the Super Bowl 2024, which takes place on February 11.

“They are great friends and colleagues; that will not change, and they are all about Brittany and Taylor being friends, but they don’t want to be tied up or tied down with all the personal hoopla they deal with till after the season,” the source said.

Swift has been to seven Chiefs games this NFL season, while Kelce jetted off to Argentina to catch Swift’s ‘The Eras Tour’ show. US Weekly reports that Kelce and Swift have been having “deep conversations” about their future together.

“When they can’t physically be together, they are constantly texting, calling, and FaceTiming,” an insider shared about Swift and Kelce’s bond. “Taylor’s relationship with Travis is like nothing she’s ever experienced before. They got serious pretty fast and she was excited to go public with it.”

Even Mahomes has spilled some beans on Kelce and Swift’s romance, saying the team had a bit of fun with Kelce when he began dating the pop star. “At first, I feel like everybody kind of stayed away, just let him do what he was doing,” Patrick revealed to Nate Burleson on “CBS Mornings.”

“And then he started bringing Taylor around and you realize how cool of a person she was and she is. So for us – I mean, it was a couple of jokes here and there in the beginning – but now, she’s just part of Chiefs Kingdom and she’s part of the team.”

“So for me, it’s just Travis, man, and he’s lucky enough to be with a great girl – and a great woman – and it’s been cool to kind of interact with her and see ’cause she’s top tier of her profession and see how she drives and she becomes that,” he added.

“I have a first-hand look at that through Brittany and Travis’ eyes … I think that’s why her and Travis match so well.”

Swift’s Eras Tour kicks off again on Feb. 10th in Tokyo, with stops in Australia, Singapore before then touring Europe throughout the spring and summer.
