And Selena Gomez has admitted that she is not the ‘best cook’ in a hilarious trailer from her new show Selena + Chef.
In the clip shared to her Instagram account, it sees the singer, 28, accidentally set food on fire and serve a raw cheese soufflé as she learns how to cook in quarantine.

The trailer starts with Selena saying: ‘I really love to eat but I’m not the best cook!’
It then shows a series of disastrous events with the star serving her grandparents and friends raw cheese soufflés.
Her pal takes a bite and declares: ‘It’s not done,’ to which Selena then investigates and adds: ‘That’s not done!’
And things take a more disastrous turn when she cooks fish as the dish sets on fire in the oven, to which her friend opens the door and yells: ‘This is on fire!’

To which her grandfather quips: ‘You’d be good at that!’
Selena captioned the video with: ‘Selena + Chef Trailer me trying to be a graceful cook.. my cooking show is streaming 8/13 on @hbomax @maxpop.’

The singer, 28, and How I Met Your Mother actor, 31, have worked together as executive producer and director on the upcoming film.

Selena took to Instagram earlier this week to share her excitement over the project and dropped a sneak peek preview of This Is The Year on her official YouTube channel.
The film follows a ‘nerdy’ high school senior and his best friends as they go on an epic road trip to see their favourite band at a festival in a final attempt to win over the ‘girl of his dreams’.
David, along with Pepe Portillo and Bug Hall, served as a writer and director for the feel-good teen comedy. He will also play the role of Sebastian.
The trailer sees stars such as Switched At Birth’s Vanessa Marano, The Little Rascals’ Bug Hall, Alyssa Jirrels, Lorenzo James Henrie and Pretty Little Liars’ Gregg Sulkin appear in the movie.

Selena also shared details about the film’s virtual premiere where the duo will reunite once again for a special live event and Q&A session.
The star revealed that the evening, which will take part on August 28, will be hosted by Charli and Dixie D’Amelio while tickets will contribute towards the PLUS1 COVID-19 Relief Fund.
In the fun YouTube video, Selena said: ‘Hi guys, I’m reuniting with my friend and big brother David!’
To which he hilariously added: ‘We’re back!’

And it looks like there could be more projects from the two stars as David recently teased how much he wants to work with Selena again in an interview with ET Now.
‘Selena and I have a reboot,’ he began, referring to a reboot of Wizards Of Waverly Place.
He added: ‘We sit and talk about it all the time. It’s not formal, but Selena and I sit and we talk about what would the reboot be. We have a whole take. We have a whole thing.’

Wizards Of Waverly Place followed the Russo family, with Selena playing Alex Russo and David playing Justin Russo.
While they may be an ordinary family with an average restaurant, behind closed doors all three children must compete to be the next family wizard.
The show ran for four seasons over 106 episodes between 2007 and 2012 when the programme went off air.
The virtual film premiere of This Is The Year is August 28.
