North West knows she’s lucky to be North West.

In her first solo magazine cover for i-D’s Fall/Winter 2023 issue, the 10-year-old opened up about her life as the daughter of Kim Kardashian, 43, and Kanye West, 46, revealing her love for basketball and chatting about her own personal style.

Asked what the best thing is about being North West, her answer varied.

“I get to play basketball. Everything. I got to go to Halloween Horror Nights,” she told the outlet.

The pre-teen also didn’t hold back when asked the three words she would use to describe herself, replying, “The Best Ever.”

Speaking about her hobbies, North expressed her interest in art as well as “going shopping for people.”

She also talked about her love for basketball, which she called a “lifestyle” and “not a hobby.”

North is Kardashian and West’s oldest child. The exes also share sons Psalm, 4, and Saint, 7½, as well as daughter Chicago, 5.

In a recent episode of The Kardashians, the SKIMS founder opened up about how North sometimes acts like she’s an only child.

“I feel like North is like, lives her life like an only child, does her thing,” she explained in a confessional. “Then the two little ones are a year apart so they’re like twins almost and they’re always together. So Saint loves the little ones, would love North if she would hang out with him, but she won’t.”

This past summer, Kardashian shared snippets of her trip to Japan with North, revealing that the country is among the pair’s favorite places in the world.

“Japan is our happy place 🇯🇵♥️,” Kardashian wrote on Instagram as she shared several photos from the girls’ trip, on which they were joined by a friend of North’s and the friend’s mother.

The photos featured North with the same ultra-long pink braids that Kardashian hilariously used to jump rope with in a TikTok video. In one of the images, North’s friend helped her carry the braids as they explored the Asian country.

In another snapshot, North was dressed in a traditional light blue kimono with her mother’s arms wrapped around her as the two posed with their friends while checking out an immersive art exhibit in Tokyo.

Kardashian also shared a photo of her and North posing in front of two life-size Hello Kitty dolls. North grinned as she and her mom wore matching oversized bows on their heads to match the dolls.
