Trent Alexander-Arnold, a Liverpool star, recently confirmed his return to Adidas by scoring an equalizer against Manchester City in the next generation Predator. We chatted with the athlete to find out more about the transfer.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is having what appears to be a career-defining season. Not only has he adjusted to the new hybrid role created at the end of the previous season and increased his creative influence over Liverpool’s most recent title challenge, but he has also switched to Adidas, leaving Under Armour and joining fellow Englishman Jude Bellingham as one of the Predator franchise’s faces. Trent and the Predator already saw themselves as an ideal combination. The silo’s control and accuracy features perfectly complement the defender-turned-midfielder’s innate skill.

 What a way to make your debut as the newest player to sign with Adidas and as a Predator—bombing the ball into the bottom corner from just inside the area to capture a point off a field that hasn’t yielded any points for any of the other visitors. Furthermore, it was done in a one-of-a-kind boot designed expressly for the player and the event, with red accents on a white base that perfectly matched his club colors. And then there’s the returning tongue, which has fans all across the world salivating for the next-generation release.
