Inter Miami superstar Messi contributed to former Barcelona teammate Riqui Puig missing a penalty kick for LA Galaxy.
A video taken by a fan of the LA Galaxy vs Inter Miami match showed how Lionel Messi contributed to Riqui Puig missing an early penalty kick.
The home team LA Galaxy was given a golden opportunity to score an early goal. Former Barcelona star Puig stepped up to the penalty spot but his effort from 11 meters was beaten by Drake Callender.
Many people believe that Drake Callender’s successful penalty was largely thanks to Lionel Messi. The former Blaugrana star, standing about 12 meters away, waved Callender in the direction Puig would shoot the ball. The Argentine was proven right when his one-time teammate at Camp Nou fired a shot towards the right.

Not only showing off his prediction skills, Messi also made great contributions to Inter Miami in their second match in MLS. Messi saved a point for Inter Miami when he scored in the 92nd minute to help the pink and black team hold LA Galaxy to a 1-1 draw.
Puig is no different from the home team’s sinner, but the Galaxy midfielder may have been somewhat consoled, Puig revealed that he is currently the owner of signed jerseys from Messi, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba.
Messi remains a star attraction wherever he goes in the United States, with many A-list guests in attendance during his visit to California. Messi will return to action on Sunday when Inter Miami takes part in an MLS derby against Florida neighbor Orlando. The match between Inter Miami and Orlando City will take place at 4:30 a.m. on March 3, Vietnam time.
