Megan Fox is pulling back the curtain on her relationship with Machine Gun Kelly — and the miscarriage the couple endured.
The “Jennifer’s Body” star, 37, opened up about the painful experience while promoting her new poetry collection, “Pretty Boys Are Poisonous.”
“I’ve never been through anything like that in my life. I have 3 kids, so it was very difficult for both of us and it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately…trying to navigate, ‘What does this mean?’ and ‘Why did this happen?’” she told “Good Morning America.”
Some of the dozens of poems are “definitely a metaphor” for the treatment she endured in the spotlight, Fox said: “None of it is what I would fictional. Those are all real life experiences that I had.
“This is not an expose that I wrote, or a memoir,” she explained.
Fox shares three sons, aged 7 to 11, with ex-husband Brian Austin Green. Machine Gun Kelly, meanwhile, has a 14-year-old daughter with his ex, Emma Cannon.
The couple has been together since the early days of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, with their relationship confirmed to Us Weekly that June.
They announced their engagement in January 2022 and, though rumors of a split circulated early this year, the pair “has been great” since at least the summer, when a source spoke to Elle. They were spotted out together last week for Halloween and in recent days at one of Machine Gun Kelly’s performances.
