The trailer shows Nitara using her claws, fangs, and aerial abilities to win bloody battles. In that trailer, Nitara confronts Kung Lao. Nitara’s dialogue is quite similar to Megan Fox’s dialogue in the 2009 horror film Jennifer’s Body.

Mortal Kombat 1 is the sequel to the iconic fighting game series first released in 1992. The game will introduce a new story and universe, while also bringing reimagined versions remakes of famous Mortal Kombat characters from previous games. Nitara is newly designed based on Megan Fox herself. “It’s great to be in this game. I don’t just appear through my voice. She is very similar to me”; Megan Fox says in the character introduction.

Megan Fox resembles Nitara’s face

This role seems like a perfect fit for Fox for many reasons. First, she absolutely enjoys being a gamer. Mrgan Fox is known as a “nerd”. Megan Fox also cosplayed as Zelda and in the Diablo IV promotional campaign. In addition, this role is suitable for Megan Fox: a magical woman.

“It forced me to explore areas I wasn’t comfortable with… But I’m happy I did it/ It also made me more free with myself,” Megan Fox shares in game promotion session.

Mortal Kombat 1 will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Windows PC and Xbox Series X on September 19.
