So the festival’s co-organiser left fans bereft when she insisted this wouldn’t be the case in a tweet on Monday.

Gaga’s outing comes after Glastonbury Festival co-organiser Emily Eavis shot down rumours that the singer and Bradley Cooper were set to stage a Star Is Born reunion at this weekend’s festival.

Taking to Twitter on Monday, she tweeted: ‘Before this one gets out of control, the answer is no, that isn’t happening, adding that fans of the pair would be able to watch A Star Is Born at the festival’s cinema tent on Friday.
