On Tuesday, Dom Pérignon unveiled its second collaboration with 13-time Grammy winner Lady Gaga in an artsy new commercial helmed by Mario Sorrenti and Woodkid (born Yoann Lemoine).
In it, the Manhattan-born pop diva – turning 37 this month – showed off a few modern dance moves, mostly with her arms, choreographed by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui.
And while Gaga (born Stefani Germanotta) was seen playing a grand piano in the advert, only an orchestral piece was heard in the background.
The Hold My Hand hitmaker was joined in the spot by a bevy of modern dancers performing at the century-old liquor company’s Champagne headquarters located inside the former Benedectine Abbey of Hautvillers.
‘When you look at pictures of the abbey, its cloister, the traces of centuries engraved in the stone,’ Lady Gaga said on the website.

The celebration of the ‘labor of creation’ was all to promote Dom Pérignon’s vintage 2013 champagne, which spent a decade maturing.
