Kendall Jenner’s new Adidas ad has sparked controversy once again, drawing criticism from fans still wary after her previous Pepsi campaign debacle.quangquang

The star appeared in a Pepsi advert which was pulled and fans are furious she’s now working with another big brand.

KENDALL Jenner has come under fire from Adidas fans who are furious she was picked to be in the brand’s campaign – as her appearance in the now infamously ill-advised Pepsi advert continues to cast a shadow over her career.

The sportswear company revealed that the reality star was their latest ambᴀssador as they posted a video featuring her on Wednesday.

But the campaign proved to be a flop as it was flooded with complaints from bemused fans, who were disgusted that they chose to use her after the Pepsi advert, which caused outrage and upset at the time as it was accused of trivialising civil rights and political protests.

In fact some fans of the brand are so annoyed that they have threatened to boycott it until they drop her.

One wrote: “Yall are idiots adidas. Jenners have more negatives with their name than positive. I aint buying ur brand until u drop her.”

While someone else remarked: “I won’t be buying Adidas ever again. I have been buying Adidas for over 20 years. Over this brand. Such a unoriginal campaign. Boring. Not original. Ironic.”

Others took issue with the fact the advert’s strapline ‘original is never finished’, while they believe the model is unoriginal.

“The most unoriginal b***h in entire modeling world represents adidas originals,” said one.

Another wrote: “How dull can you get. Kendull Jenner really? I don’t understand her appeal. Her family became famous from a Sєx tape.”

While others wondered why an athlete wasn’t used: “Couldn’t you at least use an athlete? Nothing against her, but you already have Selena who isn’t athletic at all. Stay true to the brand, the ORIGINAL reason this company was started.”

And some just mocked the whole situation, bring up the Pepsi ad: “Then after she gives a pepsi to the camera guy and solves world hunger😂.”

Back in April, Kendall and Pepsi came under fire for their advert which appeared to trivialise the Black Lives Matter movement.

The commercial saw the model use a can of Pepsi to end a stand-off between police and a group of young protesters of all races.

But viewers pointed out the imagery echoed that of the young woman Ieshia Evans serenely standing up to armed police in Baton Rouge while protesting the fatal police shooting of Alton Sterling.

After a serious amount of backlash the advert was eventually pulled.
