Buffalo, New York – November 8, 2025
In a moment that transcends football and fame, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and his wife, actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld, have joined
Shawn Kneeland, the father of late Dallas Cowboys defensive end Marshawn Kneeland, to help expand the Marshawn Kneeland Mental Health Foundation — a cause that is now inspiring hearts across the entire NFL.
Just one day after Mr. Kneeland announced he would donate his late son’s remaining $5.6 million salary to establish a foundation supporting mental health programs for young people, the Allens
flew to Dallas to stand beside him at a candlelight vigil filled with players, fans, and families from across the league.
“What Shawn is doing is the definition of strength,”
Josh said with emotion. “He’s turning unimaginable loss into purpose — and that’s something every one of us should learn from. This is about helping kids find hope before it’s too late.”
Standing close beside him, Hailee gently held Mr. Kneeland’s hand as she added: “Every child deserves to feel seen, loved, and supported. Marshawn’s story is heartbreaking, but what his father is doing will change lives — and that’s how legacies are born.”

Together, Josh and Hailee Allen pledged $500,000 through the Patricia Allen Fund and Hailee’s Bright Side Initiative to help expand the foundation’s outreach nationwide, funding counseling, mentorship, and crisis support programs
for struggling youth.
The Buffalo Bills organization also announced that players will wear #94 decals on their helmets in Week 10 to honor Marshawn Kneeland’s life and legacy.
Before next Sunday’s game
, players from both the Bills and the Dolphins will share a moment of silence, standing united beyond rivalry in memory of Marshawn and in support of youth mental health awareness.
As the final candles flickered beneath the Texas sky, Shawn Kneeland looked up and whispered:
“My son’s name will always stand for hope. And tonight, that hope feels alive again.”
Through compassion and unity, Marshawn Kneeland’s legacy continues to shine — carried forward by love, courage, and the shared belief that even in tragedy, hope can light the way.
Tổ chức Buffalo Bills cũng thông báo rằng người chơi sẽ dán đề can số 94 trên mũ bảo hiểm của họ vào Tuần 10 để tôn vinh cuộc đời và di sản của Marshawn Kneeland.
GREEN BAY, Wis. – Aug. 25, 2025 – The Green Bay Packers are wasting no time adjusting their roster ahead of Tuesday’s cutdown deadline. With final decisions looming, the front office moved quickly to balance depth across key positions.
The first domino fell after Green Bay officially acquired offensive lineman Darian Kinnard in a trade. Seen as an insurance piece for an offensive line that has battled attrition, his arrival made it clear the team needed to open a roster spot.
Carrying 13 wide receivers in camp made the position an easy target. With Matthew Golden, Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs, Dontayvion Wicks, and Savion Williams appearing safe — and Christian Watson set to start on the PUP list — cuts at wideout were inevitable.
That’s where Kawaan Baker came in. The former seventh-round pick, most recently a waiver claim, was released Monday to make room for Kinnard. He had previously spent time on Green Bay’s practice squad and earned another look this August.
While his release was not surprising, it highlights the urgency of Green Bay’s approach. Rather than wait for waiver-wire scraps, the front office acted decisively, just as it did last summer with the late acquisition of quarterback Malik Willis.
Kinnard brings size and power, offering valuable depth even if he doesn’t push for a starting role immediately. For a team eyeing another deep postseason run, the reinforcement underscores a proactive commitment to roster strength.
Meanwhile, the wide receiver room remains crowded. Malik Heath appears to have the edge among fringe candidates, while veteran Mecole Hardman — despite his speed and return ability — has yet to establish a defined role in the offense.
Baker’s departure may be the first of many as Green Bay trims down from 90 to 53. With 37 more moves to make before Tuesday’s deadline, the Packers’ roster churn is only just beginning.
