Jerry Jones releases statement on McCarthy’s return

FRISCO – The good news in terms of recognition for the Dallas Cowboys? “America’s Team” is the leader of the just-announced 2023 NFLPA All-Pro Team, as five Cowboys made the cut.

The bad news? Micah Parsons just got snubbed.

The Niners have four players on the list and the Ravens have three, so Dallas jumps over the two conference top seeds in terms of attention, with CeeDee Lamb, Tyler Smith, Zack Martin, DaRon Bland and Brandon Aubrey all making the cut on the team, which was voted on by other NFL players.

But the edge rushers on the All-Pro team are Myles Garrett of the Browns and Maxx Crosby of the Raiders, meaning Parsons and his 14 sacks will have to wait …

For both the playoffs and the Defensive Player of the Year voting, which figures to feature him as a finalist.
