Jennifer Lopez works out every day not only to look great on the red carpet but also to feel good about herself.
On March 22, the 53-year-old actress of Shotgun Wedding spoke with UsWeekly about how exercising helps her keep a positive mental attitude.
“It’s no secret that fitness is a huge part of my life.
I think there is a positive correlation between exercise and mental health” – said Ben Affleck’s wife and mother of twins Max and Emme (15 years old).
According to MentalHealth.org: “Research shows that people who exercise regularly have good mental and emotional health more, and at the same time the rate of mental illness is lower.
Exercise seems to reduce the risk of developing mental illness. It also seems to help treat some mental health conditions, such as depression and anxiety.
Lopez then added to writer Meredith Nardino of UsWeekly:
“When you find a good balance through determination and focus, we naturally strive to become the best versions of ourselves.”
I’m not afraid to challenge myself, so I’m willing to push myself, which is what I’m doing right now as I practice for my new album – This Is Me… Now – released this summer.
Lopez wrote on On the JLo in July 2022: “There was a time in my life when I used to sleep from 3 up to 5 hours per night.
I’m on set all day and in the studio all night, doing random stuff and shooting videos on the weekends. At that time, I was in my late 20s and thought I was invincible.
Until one day, I was sitting in a trailer, and all the work and stress it brought, along with not getting enough restorative sleep, took over my mind.
I thought I was losing my mind. … Now I know it was a panic attack caused by exhaustion but I had never even heard the term at the time.
