Katniss Everdeen and Cinna got their long-awaited reunion.

Former Hunger Games costars Jennifer Lawrence and Lenny Kravitz reunited at the 2024 Golden Globes on Sunday night as they posed for photos together inside the Beverly Hilton in between award presentations.

In a deep midnight blue velvet Dior gown crafted with a plunging V-neckline and sleeveless silhouette, Lawrence, 33, smiled with Kravitz, who wore black sunglasses and a suit with cutouts at the waist, and the two wrapped their arms around each other

Several other franchise alums were in attendance at Sunday’s event, all of whom were either nominees or presenters.

Among them were Sam Claflin, who played Finnick Odair in Catching Fire and the Mockingjay films, Julianne Moore, who played President Coin in the Mockingjay films, Woody Harrelson and Elizabeth Banks, who played Haymitch Abernathy and Effie Trinket in all four films.

With the November release of the prequel film, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, which was also adapted from Suzanne Collins’ novel of the same name, interest in the dystopian trilogy was reignited.

Kravitz told Variety he was made aware of the renewed interest by fans all over the world. “I started to notice more and more people were calling me Cinna out on the street and I was like, ‘What’s going on? Why are people all of a sudden back on that?’ ” he shared.

As for Lawrence, she joked that she felt “old” given the franchise was already being revisited. She told The New York Times, “I remember being 21 and thinking, ‘My God, one day they’ll redo and remake them. But I’ll be so old by then! I’ll be dead!’ ”

She also admitted, though, that she pictures herself as the crossbow-wielding protagonist. “Jennifer Lawrence is Katniss Everdeen, I guess,” she said. “Is that weird?”

Despite being freaked out by the prequel, Lawrence connected with the film’s star, Rachel Zegler, who said they developed a “bond” quickly after meeting.

“I had already filmed it when I had met her and we really just were able to bond over the fact that we know so many of the same people,” Zegler told PEOPLE at the London premiere of the film.

The timing “relieved the pressure and made us feel like we were able to do our own thing,” Zegler continued. “Though, if she had ever wanted to give me tips, I absolutely would have been open to hearing them.”
