Jennifer Lawrence felt intense guilty for sex scene with married Chris Pratt.

Jennifer was refreshingly honest

Jennifer Lawrence has admitted she got “really, really drunk” to film her very first sex scene with Chris Pratt in new movie Passengers as she struggled with the guilt of kissing a married man.

While she might have already won an Oscar, the 25-year-old actress hasn’t actually had to get hot and heavy with anyone on screen – until this movie.

“I had my first real sex scene a couple weeks ago [while shooting Passengers with Chris Pratt], and it was really bizarre. It was really weird,” she said.

Opening up about how she handled filming the scene she said: “I got really, really drunk. But then that led to more anxiety when I got home because I was like, ‘What have I done? I don’t know.’”

The star spoke about the scene during a round table with their ‘best Actress’ winners for The Hollywood Reporter’s special fifth anniversary issue.

Jennifer admitted that kissing someone who was married in real life – Chris is happily wed to fellow actress Anna Faris – caused her intense guilt.

“It was going to be my first time kissing a married man, and guilt is the worst feeling in your stomach,” she continued, “And I knew it was my job, but I couldn’t tell my stomach that. So I called my mom, and I was like, ‘Will you just tell me it’s OK?’”

While it might be normal to see actors engaging in sex scenes on screen, Jen said the experience had left her feeling the most “vulnerable” she ever felt on a movie.

“You don’t know what’s too much,” she added, “You want to do it real, you want everything to be real, but then … That was the most vulnerable I’ve ever been.”
