When movie director David O. Russell said audiences could expect a ‘wild world of amazing characters’, he certainly wasn’t joking.

In a a first look at his latest film American Hustle, its stars Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams are instant standouts as their raunchy female characters sashay their way past the likes of Christian Bale and Bradley Cooper.

Based loosely on the ABSCAM scandal of the late 1970s and early 1980s, Jennifer and Amy are quickly disrobed in the trailer, suggesting a few racy story lines pitted against the political backdrop of the film.

The teaser clip also reveals Jennifer reuniting with her Silver Linings Playbook co-star Bradley, after they were pictured making the movie in New York earlier this year in various ’70s-inspired costumes.

The pair are joined in the film by Robert DeNiro and Jeremy Renner.

22-year-old Jennifer certainly makes an impact as Rosalyn Rosenfeld, as she is seen stripping down to white undergarments in the trailer as she attempts to seduce Christian Bale’s character.

In another scene, the actress is seen wearing a cleavage-bearing top with a fur coat and gold jewelry.

Before that, Amy Adams, 38, takes off her fur coat at a party, revealing a monokini in front of a group of people

Meanwhile, Bradley showed off the results of his unflattering perm, which he first showcased on set earlier this year.cccccccc

The movie isn’t due out until December 25th and will clearly build up a lot more excitement before then.

Filming of the project was halted during the aftermath of the Boston Marathon attack, which put the city where they filmed in lockdown.

After lockdown was lifted, the film wrapped its Bosoton shoot and spent the remainder of the time in New York City.

During the aftermath, Bradley was spotted visiting victims of the terrorist attack in hospitals and attending a church memorial service for those 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁ed.

He accompanied New England Patriot Julian Edelman to visit 27-year-old Jeff Bauman Jr., who lost both of his legs in the attacks.

Meanwhile, it has been revealed that Jennifer will next star in and produce The Rules of Inheritance.

The Oscar-winning actress will reunite with her Serena director, Susanne Bier, for a new drama about a young woman who loses her family and embarks on a journey of self-discovery.

The script was written by ‘The Iron Lady’ screenwriter Abi Morgan based on Claire Bidwell Smith’s memoir of the same name.

The film, which is being financed and distributed by FilmNation, will be produced by Lawrence and Silver Linings Playbook producer Bruce Cohen.
