Spring hasn’t quite sprung yet — but Jennifer Lawrence has already got us thinking ahead.

Breezy pants have become somewhat of a signature for the actress, who wore yet another pair at the end of January while in Los Angeles. Once again, they were a cropped style that kept her ankles uncovered, and they appeared to be made from a lightweight material like seersucker, linen, or cotton. They also featured a small stripe pattern that upped the visuals of the overall ’fit.

She paired the pants with a partially buttoned-up black cardigan, keeping the look wintry, along with see-through mesh flats and oversized sunglasses with tinted lenses.

Spring will be here in a few weeks, and Lawrence’s pants are an ideal style to pick up now, especially for those heading out on a spring break getaway. They’re light enough for warm weather and provide more coverage than a pair of shorts. They can be worn for daytime and nighttime activities, like exploring a new town or enjoying a nice dinner. Plus, other celebs, including Sandra Bullock, Katie Holmes, and Gwyneth Paltrow, have beat the heat in similar styles.

We rounded up eight pairs from places like Amazon, Nordstrom, and Anthropologie — and they’re as little as $15 now.

Amazon

What makes breezy pants “breezy?” They need to be made from a lightweight material and have some wiggle room for movement — both of which the Lnx high-waisted pants have. Made from 50 percent cotton and 50 percent linen, they should feel thin on the skin and allow for wind to pass through to keep you cool. They also have real pockets, though they don’t have prominent patches like J.Law’s, and are a lighter color, which comes in handy if you’re faced with sweat stains.

Amazon

It might also be helpful to have a solid, neutral color option stowed away in your suitcase: Nordstrom has this black pair that one shopper described as “not scratchy” and “so comfortable.” This beige pair from Amazon has an elastic waistband that would be a comfortable swimsuit cover-up to slip on and off quickly.

Anthropologie

For anyone with enough pairs of cropped pants, a full-length pair like these from Anthropologie could be worthwhile. And though there’s more fabric, they should still be fairly cool since they’re made from cotton. They’re available in five colors, including orange and white. Shoppers can choose from standard, petite, and plus sizes, too.

We’re not Catching Fire, but we sure are catching feelings for J.Law’s spring-perfect pants. Keep scrolling to shop more styles inspired by the star now.
