An absolutely funktastic evening. On Monday, September 5, Beyoncé celebrated her 35th birthday at the NoMad Hotel in New York City with a star-studded party themed after Soul Train. The guest list was utterly insane.

The “Hold Up” singer attended the ’70s-inspired party in grand fashion, donning a yellow blouse that exposed cleavage, gold hot pants, and fishnet hosiery. She later changed into a sequined, one-legged ensemble.

Jay Z, the spouse of Beyoncé, arrived wearing black pants, a button-down shirt with a paisley print, and a number of thick gold chains. Later, donning an Afro hairdo, a bandanna, and a military-style jacket, he channeled Jimi Hendrix.
