Dressed down Emma Watson shows off her style credentials in knee-high boots for a night in London

She usually has a team of stylists at the ready to prep her for a big red carpet event.

But on Monday, Emma opted to go for comfort instead of glamour as she stepped out in London.

The Harry Potter star seemed preoccupied with her iPod as she made her way into the Soho Hotel in her casual outfit.

But the 22-year-old actress still managed to show off her style credentials as she stepped out in a comfortable yet fashionable look.

Wearing black shorts teamed with opaque tights, Emma pumped up the style factor by opting for a pair of trendy black leather knee-high boots.

She broke up her all black attire with a bright red cosy jumper that no doubt kept her warm in the chilly British weather.

And judging from her facial expression, it seemed the Perks of a Wallflower star was listening to some intense music on her iPod as she stepped out of her car.

She recently told Savoir Flair magazine that, next to acting, music is her passion.

She admitted: ‘I have been to a lot of music concerts lately. I try and go every week. That’s my favorite thing to.’

‘Listening to live music and getting to dance and be in a crowd are things I really like. I love dancing; you can always find me on the dance floor.’

Emma recently finished filming Darren Aronofsky’s apocalyptic film Noah, in which she is joined by Russell Crowe and Jennifer Connelly.
