Endrick, 17, flew into Madrid on Friday to visit the Valdebebas training ground and meet his new team-mates for the first time. The Brazilian will also attend their clash against Villarreal at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday, as Los Blancos look to close the gap on Girona at the top of La Liga.

WHAT ANCELOTTI SAID
Speaking in a news conference this weekend, Ancelotti said: “My advice is to enjoy the moment, and enjoy what’s happening. He’s progressing very well. We’re delighted that he’ll be our player from July. He’s come to visit us, to watch the game, and we’ve spoken to him a bit. But we have to wait until July.”
THE BIGGER PICTURE
The teenager, who recently made his debut for the Brazil national team, also starred for Palmeiras on their voyage to Serie A glory this month, after scoring the goal which secured the title during their 1-1 draw with Cruzeiro. He netted a total of 11 goals across his 31 appearances for the club, as he looks ahead to becoming a Real Madrid player next July.

WHAT NEXT FOR REAL MADRID?
As previously mentioned, Madrid currently sit second in the top flight of Spanish football with a two-point gap currently separating Ancelotti’s side from league leaders Girona. A tough test against Villarreal now approaches on Sunday, while Girona will host Deportivo Alaves on Monday night.
