Beyonce‘s mother Tina Lawson revealed that the whole family have tested negative for coronavirus and so may reunite this weekend for Mother’s Day.
Tina, 66, is also the mother of singing star Solange Knowles and said on the Tamron Hall Show this week: ‘We all got tested.’
She shared: ‘We’ve gotten the results back and everybody is okay so I hope that we can get together this Mother’s Day and have dinner together.’

Tina, who has been married to Poltergeist actor Richard Lawson since 2015, added that she hopes when she sees her family ‘I can actually touch them, for real.’
On top of being a mother-of-two, Tina is a grandmother four times over, with three grandchildren by Beyonce and one by Solange.
Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z share eight-year-old daughter Blue Ivy as well as two-year-old twins, a son called Sir and a daughter called Rumi.
Meanwhile Solange shares a 15-year-old son called Daniel Jr. by her first husband Daniel Smith, who she was married to from 2004 to 2007.

Tina said being apart from family ‘makes me sad, especially on Sundays because that’s the day that we all get together. So on Sunday mornings I’ve got the blues.’
She offered her own mothering tips ahead of the big holiday, saying: ‘My best advice would be that you can’t raise kids and have the philosophy of – Do as I say and not as I do – because they are watching everything you do.’
Tina shared: ‘So the best advice I can give you is be what you want them to be. You practice what you want them to be.’
Beyonce recently praised Tina while guest-starring on the new charity remix of Megan Thee Stallion’s hit single Savage.

Artist proceeds from the remix are to be donated in their entirely to Bread Of Life, Inc. a disaster relief organization in Beyonce and Megan’s hometown Houston.

Tina told Tamron she heard about the shout-out when ‘Somebody sent me the meme of me dancing. I wish that was my body and I was moving like that.’
When Tina was a young woman she was a beautician in Houston, eventually opening up a successful salon called Headliners in 1990.

While working she raised her two daughters and future superstars Beyonce and Solange with her first husband Mathew Knowles.
When Beyonce first rose to fame as part of the girl group Destiny’s Child, Mathew was their manager and Tina made their costumes.
Lately Mathew has been developing a stage show about his daughter’s girl group called Survivor: The Destiny’s Child Musical, according to Playbill.
