Beyonce attended City Of Hope’s Spirit Of Life gala in Los Angeles on Thursday.
The 37-year-old singer smoldered on the red carpet in a leggy, velvet peplum gown that she paired with sky-high heels.
‘It was my pleasure to honor my friend Jon Platt for all the good work he does for the City of Hope,’ she wrote on Instagram Sunday. ‘City of Hope makes creating medical miracles its priority in the fight against cancer and life-threatening diseases.’

She also reunited with friend and fellow Destiny’s Child vet, Kelly Rowland, before taking to the stage for a special performance.
Beyonce closed the gala with a medley of songs including XO, Perfect, Ave Maria, and Halo.

The mother-of-three looked angelic in an off-the-shoulder, feathered Ralph and Russo gown that featured a thigh-high slit.
She accompanied the ensemble with a cape and bedazzled pumps.
Beyonce wore her hair in crimped waves, while her facial features were enhanced with a radiant dusting of make-up.

Jay-Z, who looked dapper in a black tuxedo, presented the Spirit of Life award to Jon Platt—a publishing executive at Warner Chappell Music, known for his contributions to the the careers of Kanye West, Usher and Lil Wayne.
‘I can’t think of anyone more deserving of this award than my brother, Jon Platt,’ the Roc Nation businessman told an audience of more than 1,000 people. ‘He’s known as “Big Jon” and he has a beautiful soul.’
City Of Hope raised more than $6 million dollars on Thursday night.
And all funds will be used to carry out further research and treatment plans against cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
