Beyonce drops SECOND powerful trailer for her Renaissance Tour film… just weeks before the movie’s official release in theaters

Beyonce officially dropped a new trailer for her Renaissance Tour concert film on Thursday just weeks before the movie’s release in theaters. 

The Crazy In Love hitmaker, 42 – who previously announced that the anticipated project will premiere on December 1 – teased fans with footage from her sold-out concerts as well as behind-the-scenes content. 

The beginning of the nearly two-minute clip started with the Grammy winner standing in a dimly lit space as a yellow, glowing light circled around her. 

In the background, a voiceover from the singer could be heard saying, ‘I close my eyes and travel through realms of space and time.’ 

‘Reality holds no power or control of my state of mind on my voyage to find a source to charge my inner being, assembly line frequency as I tap my MPC.’

Beyonce’s vocals then could be heard as she sang, ‘Welcome to the Renaissance,’ with the video jumping to a shot of a stage that was surrounded by cheering fans. 

Snippets of the star sporting various eye-catching, ensembles then played out in the trailer, as another voice-over began. 

‘In this world that is very male-dominated, I’ve had to be really tough to balance motherhood and being on the stage,’ the songstress stated. ‘It just reminds me of who I really am.’ 

Additional clips of the performer taking to the stage and addressing her fans could be seen, as well as special moments shared with her daughter, Blue Ivy – who notably showcased her dance skills alongside Beyonce during various tour stops. 

Another scene showed both the Drunk In Love hitmaker as well as husband, Jay-Z, strolling inside an empty stadium together. 

As the trailer came to an end, Beyonce could be heard performing the track titled, Break My Soul, as she expressed in the background, ‘It’s a new birth. I hope you feel liberated, but the Renaissance is not over.’ 

Renaissance: A Film By Beyonce was directed by the singer herself and will show memorable moments of the star performing hit tracks on stage.

The tour kicked off earlier this year in May in Sweden and came to a close last month in Kansas City, Missouri.

The movie, ‘accentuates the journey of Renaissance World Tour, from its inception, to the opening in Stockholm, Sweden, to the finale in Kansas City, Missouri,’ according to an official synopsis per Rolling Stone. 

‘It is about Beyonce’s intention, hard work, involvement in every aspect of the production, her creative mind and purpose to create her legacy, and master her craft.’ 

‘Received with extraordinary acclaim, Beyonce’s Renaissance World Tour created a sanctuary for freedom, and shared joy, for more than 2.7 million fans,’ the premise concluded. 

In October, the award-winning performer dropped the first teaser to prepare fans for the concert film. In the video, she could be heard saying, ‘When I am performing, I am nothing but free.’ 

She added, ‘The goal for this tour was to create a place where everyone is free, and no one is judged. Start over, start fresh, create the new – that’s what the Renaissance is about.’ 

However, according to Variety, the film is not eligible to be nominated for an Academy award – including Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour film. 

The Academy’s bylaws, per the Documentary Branch, says, ‘a theatrically released nonfiction motion picture dealing creatively with cultural, artistic, historical, social, scientific, economic or other subjects.’ 

‘It may be photographed in actual occurrence, or may employ partial reenactment, stock footage, stills, animation, stop-motion or other techniques, as long as the emphasis is on fact and not on fiction.’

Beyonce’s tour reportedly generated about ‘$4.5 billion for the American economy,’ according to The New York Times. The outlet reported that it was as much as the 2008 Olympics did for Beijing.

Late last month on Halloween, Beyonce’s mother, Tina Knowles, gave an inside look at behind-the-scenes moments on the tour, including stressful costume changes.

During an appearance on Sherri, she admitted that her daughter could get ‘really mean’ backstage during outfit switches. ‘I was saying, “Girl, you get really mean back there,” and I am really happy that I don’t have to be back there anymore.’ 

The hitmaker notably donned an assortment of breathtaking outfits on stage, but Tina revealed that there were at least 100 costumes that she still didn’t have a chance to wear.

Tina Knowles reveals Beyonce has ‘over 600’ costumes on tour

Although the star had a few heated moments during changes, Knowles stated that the singer would always take time to apologize. 

‘She’ll be like, “Mama, I’m so sorry,” and I’m like, “I know.” Sometimes she’ll be crying, and I was like, “She crying because she know she just said some crazy stuff to us.”‘ 

She later explained, ‘We had over 600 costumes to choose from, and so she still has maybe 150 costumes that she hasn’t…But every night, she did at least five, four to five new costumes.’

Tina also revealed that she was impressed with the fans’ stunning outfits as well. ‘I look out in the audience – I’ve been to I think, probably 40 of the 56 shows – and every night, you know, I see the most amazing costumes.’
