The comedian has spoken in awe about the buzz that surrounds his Lion King costar Beyoncé.

Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live last Wednesday, Rogen recalled a standing ovation that Beyoncé received for ‘just existing’ at the film’s world premiere in LA.

After the film’s director Jon Favreau asked Beyoncé to walk onstage with a simple call of her name, Rogen said that the crowd began ‘losing their mind.’

‘Beyoncé was called out and the audience stood up and went crazy,’ Rogen said.

‘I was like, “She’s getting a standing ovation for just existing.”

‘Like, her mere presence was a reason to stand and go crazy, and I totally got it.

‘I was like, “Yeah, we should be celebrating. We made it. We’re all in a room with Beyoncé. That’s what you want.”‘

The Lion King hits theaters nationwide on July 18.
