Arcane Season 2: Henry Cavill’s Favorite Animated Series Releases First Teaser for Netflix

The teaser for Arcane‘s season 2 is finally here and it has left the fans wild. The animated steampunk action-adventure television series was produced by the French animation studio Fortiche under the supervision of Riot Games, and distributed by Netflix.

The first season was released on the streaming platform on November 6, 2021, and upon release, it was labeled as one of the best video game adaptations ever made by some prestigious publications.

The series was praised by many critics and even actor Henry Cavill. Last year, the actor revealed that he couldn’t stop watching as it kept him hooked. Cavill is well-known for being a video game fan, so it makes sense why the actor liked the series.

The first teaser for animated steampunk action-adventure Arcane‘s second season was released recently and fans love it. After the release of the first season in November 2021, the fans have been eagerly waiting for the next season. The series, which is set in Riot’s League of Legends universe, was produced by Fortiche under the supervision of Riot Games.

After wrapping up the first season, Riot Games and Netflix announced that a second season was in production, to be released in November 2024. The series has been well-received by the fans, particularly for being perfectly made for casual viewers who have never played League of Legends as well as for long-time fans of the game.

In November 2022, actor Henry Cavill revealed in an interview with BBC Radio 1 that BBC journalist Ali Plumb asked him to watch Arcane and it kept him hooked. The actor said,

“I’m so glad you told me, because when you said it, I went home immediately, and I was like ‘Right, Natalie, I was told by this guy at work that I should watch Arcane.’ I couldn’t stop watching it, and it got really late, and Natalie was like, ‘Right, we should probably go to bed,’ and I was like, ‘No, no, no, no, nope, gotta keep on watching.’ – She went, ‘Yeah, okay, I’m with you, we should definitely keep on watching.’ It’s amazing, and I’m very thankful that you introduced me to that, because I may have missed it otherwise.”

In the past, Cavill has revealed that he is a huge fan of video games, particularly RPG titles and strategy games like World of Warcraft, Total War: Warhammer 3, The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, and obviously, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
