Angelina Jolie looks menacing in new poster for Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil… as Michelle Pfeiffer and Elle Fanning also get their own sheets

New posters were released on Thursday for the October Disney movie Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil.

And in one of them the film’s star Angelina Jolie looks menacing with a white face, ruby red lips and a black outfit with her wings and horns in place.

There were two other posters released as well showing Michelle Pfeiffer as Queen Ingrith and Elle Fanning as Princess Aurora.

Jolie looks different this time around from the 2014 original live-action film.

She has her wings, which she did not have on during most of the first movie. And she is decorated in what appears to be claws or bird beaks.

There is also one on her forehead.

And the estranged wife of Brad Pitt is seen holding a green crystal ball wizard staff which looks to hold much power.

The beauty has rings on her long, manicured fingers as well.

The blonde beauty, best known for Scarface and for playing Catwoman, has her hair twisted and worn up in a Swedish style.

And she is clad in a gold and black gown with beige gloves.

She looks still innocent but also a bit worn her down from seeing much quarreling in her short lifetime. 

A light blue ribbon around her neck make her look like she’s from another era.   

The first trailer for the autumn movie was released on Tuesday. Jolie returns as the title character, with this sequel set several years after the events of the original film which was released in 2014. 

Fanning also returns as Aurora, a.k.a. Sleeping Beauty, with the trailer offering the first look at Pfeiffer’s Ingrith.

The trailer opens with a group of faeries flying around the huge castle, while Ingrith narrates, revealing she ‘remembers the story of an evil witch,’ as we get a look at Maleficent’s horns.

‘And the princess she cursed to sleep forever,’ Ingrith continues, as we get a new look at Fanning’s Aurora, about to prick her finger on the spindle.

Ingrith adds that the story, ‘became legend,’ while the prince proposed to Aurora, giving her a ring, as the faeries all fly away from the trees as Aurora and the prince embrace.

Villainess: Ingrith then goes on to say that, ‘this is no fairy tale,’ before Maleficent says, ‘There any many others who prey on the innocent, as Maleficent is seen entering a grand hall, before she addresses Ingrith directly

King John: ‘I’m sure your kind would agree,’ Maleficent says, as a nervous King John (Robert Lindsay) looks on

Maleficent doesn’t answer though, flying away, while other brief shots show faeries flying throughout the land and Ingrith watching from atop her castle.

Know better: ‘Well do you?’ Maleficent asks, as Ingrith turns angry and says, ‘Do I what?’ with Maleficent responding, ‘Know better?’

Energy: Maleficent is also seen unleashing spreading her black wings and firing a green energy blast at some soldiers, while Aurora stands up and demands, ‘What have you done?’

The trailer ends with a slew of witches descending upon the castle, sending some running for cover.

The final shot shows Maleficent landing and spreading her wings, showing off a new black body paint look as the battle begins.
