‘Angelina was with her godmother, who is very important to her,’ a source told the publication of her recent trip abroad.
‘They’re very close, and Jacqueline is someone Angelina has admired for a long time. And of course, there is the connection to her mom.’
Bisset was close friends with Jolie’s late mother Marcheline Bertrand.
Marcheline battled ovarian cancer for seven years before she died from the disease in 2007 at the age of 56.

Jolie launched the new fragrance Mon Guerlain Eau de Parful Intense with Guerlain earlier in the week, a company her mom was very fond of.
‘It was a brand my mother loved, so I knew it from my childhood,’ Jolie told Marie Claire in 2017. ‘It spoke to her, as it does to me, of beauty, history, and quality; one of the oldest perfume houses in the world, from France, a country I love and feel connected to.’
Angelina added that her mom was ‘was a very natural woman’ and didn’t require much fuss getting ready.
She ‘never spoiled herself, never wore makeup, and wore modest jewelry, but she always had a few special items for when she wanted to feel like a lady.’

During an interview in 2017, Jolie said her late mother was still an incredible influence as she raised her six children: Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 13, and 10-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
‘She would have thrived as a grandmother,’ Jolie told Elle France. ‘I know how much she would have contributed to their lives and I am sad they will miss out on that.
‘I would give anything for her to be with me at this time. I’ve needed her. I talk to her often in my mind and try to think what she might say and how she might guide me.’
