At Sunday’s Golden Globes, Pitt, 56, won the award for best supporting actor for his role in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.
It marked a comeback for the star in the wake of his acrimonious divorce from Jolie and his struggles with sobriety and places him in contention for an Academy Award nomination.
However, after taking the stage to accept his trophy, he thanked various people including Tarantino, co-star Leonardo DiCaprio and his parents, but did not mention his children.
A source told TMZ on Monday that the actor deliberately omitted any reference to his kids because he wants to keep their lives as private as possible.
