Amy Adams looked absolutely stunning in a captivating evening gown as she joined leading actor Henry Cavill at the premiere event in London

Only two days ago, he showcased his latest film at a star-studded premiere in New York City.

And Wednesday marked a big night for new Superman Henry Cavill as he was greeted by his home crowd at the British premiere of Man Of Steel.

The chiseled actor, 30, was joined by his leading lady Amy Adams at a drizzly screening in London’s Leicester Square.

Joining the pair were their co-star Russell Crowe, who plays Superman’s biological father Jor-El in the latest film version of the superhero story.

The film is directed by Zack Snyder and produced by Christopher Nolan, who is famed for helming the Dark Knight trilogy of Batman movies.

The new movie tells the familiar tale of Superman’s birth and how he ended up on Earth and was raised by humans Jonathan and Martha Kent (Kevin Costner and Diane Lane).
