People in a neighborhood in East Las Vegas near Hollywood Blvd. and Charleston Ave. have been completely baffled for weeks as mysterious brown or black droplets have landed on their property, strangesounds reports. Org.
Marcos Cervantes said the drops have rained down on his home, cars, RV, basketball court and just about everything else in the last three to four weeks.
“Could it be grease? Oil? I don’t know,” Cervantes said as he looked down at the hood of his mysterious liquid-coated SUV. “It’s very difficult to maintain my vehicles.
“It’s really hard to be in my backyard knowing I can’t even cook or barbecue or anything because of the drips on my food.”
Neighbors in the area declined the interview, but said they had all gone through the same thing without explanation.
Cervantes questioned whether the droplets could have come from planes passing overhead, but said he had contacted the Federal Aviation Administration for no answers.
He wondered if the substance could be toxic or harmful to health.
“I would like someone to take action and help me determine what this is and find a solution,” he said.
