The Vietnamese artistic soccer player asked his sister to prepare a special gift to give Ronaldo, a conical hat with the familiar celebration image of this superstar. On the hat there are also images of the Portuguese and Vietnamese flags along with the words “From Vietnam with love”.

Although he had prepared quite carefully, 2 hours before the flight, Do Kim Phuc panicked when the drawings on the hat suddenly faded. Immediately, his sister had to drive from home to the airport to redraw. The gift was then completed and Do Kim Phuc was the last person to board the plane at that time.

In Saudi Arabia, Do Kim Phuc had the opportunity to see Ronaldo practice with Al Nassr Club.

“The feeling of watching Ronaldo practice is indescribable because this is a closed practice session and no one is allowed to record. I find it quite interesting that the players’ children can also practice in the field in a private corner. At Al Nassr, Ronaldo is like a spiritual leader. He will move around the field and practice with each group and motivate his teammates” – Do Kim Phuc recalled.

After the training session ended, Do Kim Phuc and his companion, businessman Pham Ngoc Quoc Cuong, had the opportunity to meet and interact with Ronaldo for a few minutes.

“At that time, I was extremely nervous. When he signed an autograph and patted my shoulder, I was extremely happy and excited, as if I was in a dream.
