Liverpool is ready to sell Luis Diaz to Barca. The Colombian footballer and Liverpool have yet to make any moves towards extending their contract.

According to information from Mundo Deportivo, Liverpool is ready to sell forward Luis Diaz in the summer of 2024, and Barca is currently pursuing the Colombian player.

Luis Diaz is currently one of the most important players in Liverpool’s attacking lineup, regularly given the opportunity to play by manager Klopp. Coach Jurgen Klopp often utilizes the 27-year-old star on the left wing.

This season, Diaz has scored 12 goals and provided 4 assists in over 40 appearances across all competitions. Despite his importance, the future of the 27-year-old winger remains uncertain at Liverpool for the next season, especially with Klopp set to depart.

Liverpool has offered Diaz a contract extension, but the 1997-born player has not yet agreed. According to information from Mundo Deportivo, Liverpool is ready to sell Luis Diaz in the summer of 2024, with Barcelona currently pursuing the Colombian player.

Barca is interested in Luis Diaz.

Barcelona is actively hunting for top-class forwards to bolster their attacking quality, especially after Ferran Torres or Joao Felix failed to meet the performance standards. Diaz views Barcelona as a dream destination, making this deal entirely plausible. Liverpool is seeking €85 million from this transfer.

Apart from Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain is another European giant interested in Diaz as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe. However, Diaz is reportedly keen on joining Barcelona if he leaves Camp Nou.
