Getting to GRIPS with her side-sweep: Emma Watson uses quirky hair clips to slick her luscious locks to one side at Noah premiere

She’s best known for her magical turn in Harry Potter but Emma Watson left her character’s frizzy hair behind as she arrived at the Madrid premiere of her latest movie Noah, on Monday.

It wasn’t just her glamorous outfit that set tongues wagging, but the star’s decision to wear ten large bronze hair-grips in her locks.

Emma looked chic and sophisticated with her hair styled to one side, held back by several chervon-shaped bronze clips.

With her hair swept to one side, the star posed with her head down and smiled – showing off the snazzy new look.

And the actress shows no signs of tiring, despite travelling around the world to promote her new movie.

Arriving in Madrid on Monday, the Harry Potter star looked refreshed and effortlessly stylish monochrome suit-like ensemble.

The 23-year-old British actress was glowing with class as she joined her co-star Jennifer Connolly and writer/director Darren Aronofsky to welcome their work to Spain.

Emma – whose wardrobe is almost exclusively mature beyond her years – wore a square shouldered white blouse, featuring a deep plunging neckline.

She teamed the glamorous top with black tailored trousers and simplistic black heels, keeping her jewellery to a minimum with nothing but a thick gold cuff and some basic rings.

The Perks Of Being A Wallflower star wore her growing brunette tresses swept over to one side in a striking side part which helped to frame her face along with a dash of deep red lipstick.

Jennifer Connolly was also a knockout in a short and sheer lime green frock, covered in an array of lightly embroidered leaves whilst doing a good job of showing off her long legs.

The pair of actresses posed either side of the man behind the project, Darren Aronofsky, who wrote and directed the biblical epic.

Other cast members who weren’t present at this premiere include Russell Crowe – who stars as Noah – Anthony Hopkins, Kevin Durand, Nick Nolte, Logan Lerman and Douglas Booth.

Emma plays daughter-in-law Ila, to the pre-flood Patriarch (played by Russell Crowe), who builds an ark to save God’s creations in a world mired by human sin.

Douglas Booth plays her on-screen love interest Shem, whilst Jennifer Connelly who plays Noah’s wife Naameh.

The $75million film has attracted criticism from both Christians and Muslims for its take on the Biblical hero.

It was banned in three Arab countries after religious leaders complained at the way it depicted the Biblical figure – who is also a prophet in the Koran.
