Emma Watson left fans bamboozled with her ‘gravity-defying’ dress, on Monday.
The Harry Potter actress, 33, took to Instagram where she posted snaps of herself posing with her brother Alex for his new gin brand, Renais.
Emma looked sensational in a stunning strapless 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 blue draped minidress boasting asymmetric wiring, from Loewe’s spring 2023 collection.
The superstar’s followers were immediately confused over the garment’s structure, questioning how it stayed in place and asking if it was Harry Potter style wizardry.
One fan asked: ‘What in the wingardium leviosa is that dress?’ while another added: ‘The dress looks like it’s floating. I’m trying to understand.’
Eh? Emma Watson left fans bamboozled with her ‘gravity-defying’ dress after posting snaps of herself posing with her brother Alex to Instagram, on Monday, for his new gin brand, Renais
‘The dress said wingardium leviosa,’ commented someone else as another follower asked: ‘How is that dress on your body? Hanging from your ears?’
Someone asserted: ‘This dress is defying physics,’ with another admitting: ‘This image is bamboozling me,’ while someone else noted: ‘the dress is giving wingardium leviosa.’
The new shots come just a few days after Emma was seen piggybacking with snack brand founder Ryan Kohn as the duo frolicked in Venice.
The newly-single star looked in high spirits just weeks after it was reported that she’d split from the son of retail tycoon Sir Philip Green, Brandon.
Emma was with Brandon for 18 months and it was in Venice when their relationship became public after they were spotted holding hands.
MailOnline contacted a representative for Emma for comment at the time.
Emma and Brandon are said to have split some time after Christmas – following a ‘serious’ romance.
Brandon had a reputation as a party-lover and previously dated a number of models. He was once caught patting Kate Moss’ bottom on holiday in St Barths.
Raised in the tax haven of Monaco his Bar Mitzvah, at the fabled Hotel Du Cap, included performances by Beyonce and Andrea Bocelli.
However, more recently he demonstrated an interest in good works including biodiversity and the oceans, and was described as ‘polite and smart’ by friends.
With a fledgling tech investments company, Brendan had seemed a good match for Emma, a serious-minded woman who took a degree at Brown University post-Potter.
She now harbours ambitions behind the camera, having set up two film production companies and directed herself in a Prada commercial.
Emma famously remarked during a period when she was single that she was ‘self-partnered’ but by more conventional standards she has been a serial monogamist – and serially unlucky in love.
An early boyfriend was rugby player Tom Ducker. He was followed by a more serious romance with fellow Oxford University students Will Adamowicz and Matt Janney.
She has dated three young tech millionaires, most significantly the entrepreneur William ‘Mack’ Knight.
They split in late 2017 after a two year romance. On the rebound she had a six month love affair with handsome Glee actor Chord Overstreet. They broke up during the summer of 2018.
She was then spotted sharing cocktails with tech CEO Brendan Wallace, the is co-founder of a venture capital fund who she may – or may not – be dating again now.
By the summer of 2019, she had moved on to another tech millionaire, Brendan Iribe, CEO of Oculus. He was followed by businessman Leo Robinton, with whom she spent two years.
In an interview she said: ‘The boyfriends or partners I’ve had have generally made me feel really cherished. They’ve built me up.’
