Being the sole bookshop in the entire Bronx, The Lit Bar is extremely important to the neighborhood.

Jennifer Lopez, who was born in the Bronx, is among the well-known celebrities who have frequented the store.

The newest celebrity to enter, Manchester United star Marcus Rashford, was surrounded by supporters.

Signed copies of Rashford’s book You Are a Champion were given to supporters.

On Instagram, the England international posted, “It was great to visit The Lit Bar with Noelle.”

“Not only is it independent, it is the only book store located in all of the Bronx, playing a massive part in the community.”

Rashford is a big supporter of charities and was awarded an MBE for his services.

Helping the homeless, assisting NHS employees, attempting to alleviate food poverty, and assisting vulnerable children in receiving free school lunches are just a few of the things he does.

In an open letter to members of parliament, Rashford urged the government to change its mind about not providing free school lunch vouchers to the 1.3 million eligible pupils.

At first, the administration refused to do a U-turn, but Rashford’s tenacity and the backing of lawmakers and other public figures them to modify their position.

Prominent figures who expressed their backing for the star included Sir Keir Starmer, Gary Lineker, and Piers Morgan.
