Emma Watson looked happy and relaxed as she spent the day with friends in New York this week.
The Harry Potter star, 25, cut a casual figure for her laid-back lunch date with a couple of friends at Italian restaurant Barbuto in the city’s West Village district.
And she looked as lovely as ever, wearing her staple look of tonal shades and simple yet smart separates, the actress never knowingly overdressed.

The beautiful Brit showed off her gorgeous natural smile as she sat chatting to her friends, a male and a female, outside the restaurant.
For her daytime outing, she wore a pair of cropped slim-fitting black trousers, showing off a lot of ankle, a clean white top and a seriously chic grey coat cut in a slight cocoon-style shape.
The effortless look was finished with a pair of comfortable black loafers and nothing else, Emma clearly not feeling the need for a jazzy accessory.
Her light brunette locks were tied back into a fuss-free low ponytail and she appeared to be going make-up free, her petite features and naturally strong brow needing no touch-ups.

The novel turns into a contemporary thriller about the perils of life in a digital age where personal data is collected, sifted, monetized and used for surveillance, rendering privacy obsolete.
‘Emma Watson is one of my favourite actors, and her incredible talent, sensitivity and deep intelligence will bring an electric energy to The Circle,’ James told Variety in June.
As well as playing the male lead, Hanks, 59, will also produce the sci-fi drama.
Emma has starred in The Perks Of Being A Wallflower, The Bling Ring and Noah among others since the Harry Potter franchise came to an end, and she is set to appear in Disney’s live-action Beauty And The Beast, due out in 2017
She will next co-star with Ethan Hawke and Harry Potter’s David Thewlis in director Alejandro Amenabar’s Regression, about a father accused of a crime he has no memory of committing, due out December 31.
